Documentation

I wanted to have some form of local documentation for Cinderella, for the cases my laptop is not hooked-up to the net.

So I went to
http://documentation.cinderella.de/tiki-config_pdf.php
and tried to create a PDF file by selecting and adding all Wiki pages.

All I got is the following error message :
"connexion au réseau interrompue” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005)

I thought that perhaps I had to Login first, but my Cinderella Login didn’t work (I received the « Invalid username or password » message).

Am I doing something wrong ?

André

André,

this is probably a bug in the Wiki software. However, it is not necessary for you to copy the documentation this way. The online help included with Cinderella.2 is exactly an offline version of the online documentation at http://doc.cinderella.de --- this means, if you install Cinderella (or in case of Mac OS X, if you copy the Cinderella.2 application to your harddisk), you have the complete content of our documentation website.

Thanks again, Ulli

It works fine, with one small exception: the link to Pappus's Theorem seems to be broken in the offline documentation. But this link works fine in the online doc.

I'll check this — thanks for observing!
