Unable to start Cinderella2 in Kubuntu 12.04


Hi !
I just installed the latest version of Cinderella2 in Kubuntu 12.04,
and when I try to start it,
- it shows an empty dialog (little gray window),
- prints "anim true" to stdout
and then it just stalls... I have to send Ctrl-C to stop it, after a few minutes waiting.

Does anybody could help ?

Pierre,

I will create a new installer that does not use pack200 – there seems to be an issue with some Java versions on Linux that do not ship the unpack200 binary.

Ulli,
When I start the new installer (Cinderella_unix_2_6.beta.sh), I get the following error message:

Unpacking JRE ...
Preparing JRE ...
./Cinderella_unix_2_6.beta.sh: 197: ./Cinderella_unix_2_6.beta.sh: bin/unpack200: not found
