How does one view a function which was defined in a .cdy file.

swhite,

this depends on how you (or the author of the file) defined the function:
  • If it is defined by the f(x) button then you can click on the corresponding text in "Add a function" mode and you will see the original definition.
  • If it is defined by the f(x) button but invisible, then you can use the Construction text window (Ctrl-4 on Windows, CMD-4 on Mac) to view it nevertheless.
  • If it is defined via the script editor or from the command line, you can find it in the script editor (Ctrl-9 on Windows, CMD-9 on Mac).
  • If it is defined as a Transformation button, you can use the Inspector and shift-click the transformation to view its definition.
